Welcome everyone. I am so happy you have joined us for our first Saturday challenge. I am so excited to be hopping with these very talented ladies. If you have joined me from Hannah's blog, welcome!

Here is this week's sketch:

I think this sketch is a great for us to start with as it's so open to interpretation, here is my take on the sketch...

I know its only October and so you might say its too early for Christmas, but I love snowflakes and wish we were guaranteed a white Christmas every year. When I saw the new softly falling embossing folder I wanted to make a snowflake card and this sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to showcase the effect on vellum! The In-Colours for 2015-2017 are still some of my favourite colours and the Mint Macaron is a great non traditional Christmas colour. I think the blue-green hue makes it more versatile then a simple pale blue colour and it looks stunning under the vellum! I used Versa-Mark ink and Silver embossing powder to keep the extra colours to a minimum and finished it with silver ribbon and a snowflake embellishment.

I hope you have been inspired by the sketch or my creation, if you have please feel free to join in the sketch challenge and share your creations with me. In the meantime please keep hopping, next is the wonderfully talented Sam who I am sure has made something amazing! If you would like to make the card above all the supplies are listed below.
I can't wait until the next Saturday Challenge!
