Sprinkles of Life - A Pinkies Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin'® Up! Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

It's that time of year again, Demonstrators around the world are getting so excited for the launch of the brand new catalogue! What better way to celebrate this event then by having a blog hop where we can do our favourite things- Inspire, Create and Share! I hope that you enjoy looking at the product that I have made for todays hop and I hope you hop all the way around to look at what the other amazing demonstrators have thought up!

The stamp set that I have chosen to use today is the Sprinkles of Life set. This stamp set is a very special stamp set in this year's catalogue. Every set sold raises money for RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) who are the Stampin' Up!'s chosen charity. RMHC provide support and housing for families with children in hospital and it is a charity very close to my heart! Expect to see a lot of projects using this stamp set for the next 12 months!

I have also used some of the brand new In-Colours, particularly Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe. These two colours go so beautifully together and are so versatile. I immediately felt that the Tip Top Taupe is the perfect colour for the cake (it would also suit the ice cream cone also in the set!) and stamped the cake case on the same colour card to give a subtle effect. I then stamped the cake top in Mint Macaron and added sprinkles of the other new In-colours. I finished the cake off with a brand new In-colour flower, isn't it adorable?

I then matted and layered the cake on some of the new envelope paper and plain coloured cardstock along with some of our natural chevron ribbon. As an added effect I cut and frayed the edges of the ribbon. To complete the card I stamped happy birthday and some flowers to the inside of the card.

Thank you so much for visiting me today and I hope that you have enjoyed the sneak peak at the new catalogue. Please continue to join the blog hop by clicking on the next button below. I know that much more inspiration awaits!
