First of all I would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who came to this months card class, it was my first class in Sevenoaks and I hope the first of many. It was a great success and I had a great time.
Now my photography skills are not the best, and a lot of my photos were blurry! but here are a few photos of what was created on the night.
This months card class was focused on two products, the Sketched Birthday stamp set and the Banner Punch.
These two products are my absolute favourite from the Annual catalogue. I love making cakes and I love parties, and these products are just everything about that. The stamp set is so versatile and lends itself to so many different techniques. I felt that this stamp set and punch were a great start to my card making classes, going back to basics but using the products in different ways. For the next week I will be using the Sketched Birthday set and the Banner Punch to create even more, and hopefully provide you with even more inspiration.
The cards also utilises the amazing Moonlight designer series paper stack which is amazing value at only £6.95 and contains 48 sheets of double sided paper. The designs are really varied and can be used to create really different looking cards. In this class I used pages that were quite fun and suited towards celebrations, I kind of think that they have a bit of a circus theme to them! I also picked up the extra colour included in the paper stack of Basic Grey and used staples to attach the ribbon and stamped the cake in Basic grey ink. They match perfectly!
